These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of zeddenit.ca and all services offered by Zedden I.T. By using our website or purchasing services you agree to these Terms. Read alongside our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Services

Zedden I.T. offers web hosting, website design and development, SEO audits and optimization, AI website building, AI assistant configuration, and related digital services to small businesses in Ontario and across Canada.

Specific terms for each service are outlined in your purchase confirmation or onboarding documentation. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a specific service agreement, the service agreement governs.

2. Hosting Services

Web hosting plans are offered on a monthly or annual basis. Plan features are listed on our pricing page at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to update plan features with 30 days notice.

Uptime

Pro and Enterprise plans include a 99.9% uptime SLA excluding scheduled maintenance and events outside our reasonable control. Starter and Growth plans run on the same infrastructure without a formal SLA.

Backups

Automated backups are performed per your plan tier and retained for 30 days. Backups are a courtesy service and do not replace your own backup strategy. Zedden I.T. is not liable for data loss.

Acceptable Use

All hosting accounts must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

3. Payments and Billing

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) plus applicable taxes (HST 13% for Ontario residents). Payments are processed securely through Square. We do not store your payment card details.

Annual plans are billed in full at the start of the billing period. Monthly plans are billed monthly. Hosting continues until cancelled.

4. Domain Registration and Renewals

Domains registered through Zedden I.T. are registered in your name with your contact details as the WHOIS registrant. You own your domain and may transfer it to any registrar at any time.

Domain renewals are managed by Zedden I.T. on your behalf. We will renew your domain annually and bill you at the prevailing renewal rate for your domain TLD. You will receive a renewal notice by email 60 and 30 days before expiry.

If you do not wish to renew, you must notify us in writing at least 14 days before the expiry date. Failure to notify may result in the domain renewing and the renewal fee being charged.

Domain registration and renewal fees are non-refundable once the transaction has been processed with the registry. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Full refund terms are in our Refund Policy. In summary: annual hosting plans carry a 14-day refund window from purchase. Monthly plans are non-refundable for the current period. Domain fees are non-refundable.

To cancel hosting, email [email protected]. Service remains active until the end of the current billing period.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own the content and creative assets produced specifically for you. Zedden I.T. retains ownership of proprietary tools, plugins, frameworks, and processes.

You grant Zedden I.T. a limited licence to display your project in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zedden I.T. is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or notice on zeddenit.ca. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.
